🌟 Thrilled to share the success of our recent L&D talk in Cambodia on June 22, 2024! With 30 dedicated L&D and HR practitioners in attendance, I’m incredibly impressed by the enthusiasm and commitment shown by everyone. 🙌

A big thank you to the Educational Development Institute for organizing this event and providing a platform for us to share knowledge and learn from each other.

Highlights from Speakers:

Savath’s Insights:

He emphasized the need for HR professionals to upskill and reskill employees to ensure organizational growth and sustainability. Savath also highlighted the crucial role of digital talent in every department, not just IT, and the importance of integrating digital tools into talent development. 🌐

Dato’ Eric’s Talk:

Dato’ Eric shared valuable insights on digital talent development, emphasizing that every employee is a digital talent. He covered key topics such as employee upskilling, staff retention, and employer branding. Eric also spoke about the significance of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) in attracting and retaining young talent. He highlighted the need for continuous learning and adaptation to stay ahead in the digital era. 🌍

My Sharing:

During my talk, I highlighted the findings from the Global Sentiment Survey, noting that AI is gaining significant traction. However, the focus on upskilling and reskilling is crucial for effective AI adoption in L&D. One of the most frequently asked questions was, “Will AI replace humans?” My take is that AI will replace jobs, not humans. Therefore, we must focus on upskilling and reskilling our people to ensure they can thrive in an AI-enhanced workplace. 🤖

Peti Kim’s Experience:

Peti Kim from DKSH shared his experiences on integrating technology into their organization. He provided practical examples of how DKSH has successfully adopted digital tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across their global operations. Peti emphasized the importance of strategic intent, building relationships, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. 💡

Looking Ahead:

We are excited to announce our upcoming series on “AI-Enhanced eLearning: Revolutionizing Content Creation.” This series will kick off in Malaysia, followed by Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Stay tuned for more updates! 🚀

I’m grateful for the opportunity to engage with such a passionate and knowledgeable community. Together, we can drive the future of L&D in Cambodia and beyond. Let’s continue to learn, innovate, and support each other in our journey towards excellence. 🌟
